Do I need a teacher?

No. These plans are designed for adult self-learners. Each piece comes with guidance notes that explain what to focus on and how to practise.

Is this really free?

Yes. Creating an account and following a plan is completely free. You may need to buy 1–2 music books per plan, and several are available free online.

What books do I need to buy?

Each plan page lists the recommended books and notes on which are available free on IMSLP. You can see the book list before registering.

Can I skip ahead?

Yes. If you've already studied some of the pieces, the plan will recognise them as completed and start you where you left off. You can also browse the full piece list and jump to any point.
